We will hold an info night on October 21st and this and other important dates are outlined at the bottom of the page.

Selection Process for September 2026
We are reviewing our selection process. Please be patient as we update the information.
First Steps - here are some things that you can do to get ready:
- Pick up the paper application package - available mid October in our school office.
- Beginning November 10th, log on and complete the online application forms.
- Submit the application envelope by December 15th.
This includes: - a typed or written response by applicant
- a recent photograph of the applicant
- a copy of your final report card from last school year and, if available, your most recent report card from the current school year
- Proof of Vancouver Residency (House/Car Insurance, and/or Driver ID/BC ID Card plus additional documents, see envelope for details)
- (Please Note: We are NOT asking for a letter of reference)

Drama
Submit a pre audition video that gives us a sense of YOU and your desire to be a part of this program. Please do not add any special effects, props or costumes. We want to focus on the real you for this portion of the process. It is best to be casual and sincere- no bells or whistles are necessary. Please see the attached link for additional instructions:
Drama InfoMedia Arts
Submit video evidence of your creative media experience. This can be one film reel or a series of links but should not be longer than 5 minutes in total length. In addition to the film reel, please submit a video of you talking directly to the camera about the films submitted. Please see the attached link for additional instructions:
Media InfoVisual Art
Submit FOUR (4) original art pieces responding to our prompts (see link). The work should demonstrate the applicant's skill with a variety of media and show us who you are as an artist and as a person. Be creative, make it personal, help us get to know you. Use Microsoft Sway to organize the completed works and provide the link in the appropriate section of the online application by January 1st.

Band
Prepare a short video of approximately 2 minutes of yourself playing your instrument that demonstrates clear tone quality, breath control, and technical ability. In addition to the 2 minutes of playing, applicants are encouraged to speak about themselves and their interest in music on video. Please see the attached link for additional instructions:

Prepare a short video of approximately 2 minutes of yourself playing your instrument that demonstrates clear tone quality, musicianship, and technical ability. In addition to the 2 minutes of playing, applicants have the opportunity to speak about themselves on the video. Please see the attached link for additional instructions:

Prepare a short video of approximately 1 minute of singing that demonstrates clear tone quality, breath control, and vocal range. In addition to the 1 minute of singing, applicants have the opportunity to speak about themselves on the video. Please see the attached link for additional instructions:

Literary Arts 11/12
Submit five (5) pieces of writing including at least one analytical and one creative work as part of your paper submission. Ensure that your name is on each example and place them in the application envelope. A maximum of two may be school assignments.
