Steps For Shortlisted Applicants
- Beginning in January, information submitted by the applicants will be reviewed. This includes report cards, essay responses, residency information, and fine art materials like the video presentations and artworks.
- A small number of shortlisted candidates in each department will be contacted by the end of January by email. Please see below for estimated dates for each department.
- Some departments will require additional steps for each applicant. Specific details can be reviewed below:
Specific Steps for Applicants in Each Department
Online interview and monologue performance (Feb 8 & 9). Shortlisted candidates will be contacted with an interview/audition time. Meanwhile, please see the attached link for the monologues and additional instructions: Drama Monologues. We suggest that applicants start to practice the monologues now.
Online interview to discuss your submitted video(s) (Dates in February TBD). Shortlisted candidates will be contacted with a time.
There will be no online interview/audition for Visual Arts. Submitted artwork and artist statements will be reviewed. Selection will be based on a review of this work and the additional items (report card, essay, etc.)in the application package.
Literary Arts 11 to 12 (Current Grades 10 to 11)
Online timed response to a writting prompt: Date TBD. Students will be asked to respond to a provided writing prompt. This essay, together with the submitted five (5) pieces of writing will be used to select potential candidates. An invitation will be sent out to shortlisted candidates. The writing task will take place afterschool on the 17th.
