2) Why can't I ask my teacher/principal/vice-principal to be my referee?
Your teacher is a very busy person and he or she has already provided information by producing your November report card. Instead, we encourage you to ask a family friend, a soccer coach, a drama or art or music instructor, for instance, who may have observed or worked with you over the last few years.
